As a creative, feedback is part of the process. But hearing criticism on something you’ve poured your heart into can sting. Start by separating constructive feedback from general criticism. Look for specific suggestions that help you improve. Treat feedback as a tool to grow rather than as a personal attack.

 

It’s okay to take a step back and give yourself time to process feedback before acting on it. Over time, you’ll learn to recognize valuable feedback from comments that don’t add much value.

 

Just remember, even the Mona Lisa would probably get an “okay” rating on social media today.
